In May 2002, with the dedication and help of the Texas Mu Volunteer Board, Texas Mu Alumni Housing Corporation, and Sigma Phi Epsilon National Headquarters, and the National Housing Corporation of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity, a wonderful new Chapter House was acquired for the benefit of the Texas Mu Chapter for the first move in over twenty (20) years.
Our property is a campus style setting with a two story main house (4,500 square feet), two story dorm style building (2,400 square feet) and a two story three car garage apartment (1,200 square feet of living space), a pavilion (4,800 square feet of covered space), backyard deck (800 square feet), and 80 space concrete parking lot situated on 7.5 wooded acres south of the main campus. The property accommodates 28 men in residence. The property has a combined 10 ½ bathrooms. We engage a food caterer for meals and maid service to maintain the facility with help from the Chapter. The living area in the main house has hardwood floors, a big screen television, wood paneling and natural stone fireplace. The Chapter room doubles as a dining area and is situated in the main house. Please refer to the photograph and virtual tour information on the website for a first hand look at our beautiful property. The Cornerstone Campaign to raise funds for the acquisition and improvement of the Chapter House was established in 2001. The Cornerstone Campaign is an ongoing fundraising effort to improve the house. We recognize those that have made contributions to this effort on an ongoing basis. Please consider donating to this worthy campaign. |
