On behalf of the gentlemen of the Texas Mu Chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity, I would like to welcome you to our website. Feel free to look around and learn all about what is going on in our great chapter here at Texas A&M University.
As we near our 35th year of existence as the first and finest fraternity at A&M, we are proud to say that we still excel in many areas of on and off-campus activities. First and foremost, our academics are improving and we hope to reach the 3.0 mark for the first time ever. To help us attain that goal, we are making plans to construct a Residential Learning Community in our facility that would include meeting space, study areas, and even a computer lab, all for use by our brothers. In athletics, we are ready to start a brand new school year of dominance in soccer and softball (All-University champions) as well as improving our football and basketball teams to an equal status. And our chapter home is one that many chapters would envy, with sleeping quarters for 28 brothers, a new 85-space parking lot, an all-weather pavilion, and a game room, all spread over a lush 7.5 acres. The time is right for potential new members to make the commitment to the best experience available at Texas A&M.
SigEp at Texas A&M University is still growing, too. We set high standards in our recruitment and still maintain a top-3 position in membership at A&M. Consistent with the national reputation of having the most living alumni in the land, the Texas Mu Chapter has initiated and graduated more men on our campus than any other fraternity, crossing the benchmark of 1000 initiated brothers in January.
Currently, Sigma Phi Epsilon is at the forefront of leading the Interfraternity Council and Aggie Greeks into a new era of growth and acceptance of Greeks as a legitimate body on campus. Backed by a strong, pro-Greek administration and supported by strong leadership in IFC, Aggie Greeks are breaking barriers every semester. This is an exciting time to be an Aggie, and especially exciting to be an Aggie Greek.
Again, we invite visitors to feel free to look around our site. If you are a potential new member, please visit the "Rush" tab found at the top of the page for more details on recruitment. Finally, we would appreciate any input, questions, or concerns you have as your opinion is always welcome. Thank you for coming.
Sincerely,
Jonathan McSpadden Chapter President
